Hi, I’m Hattie!
With a head full of dreams and a heart full of joy, I feel like one of the luckiest people in the world to be living my dream each day.
Beyond loving performing, I really love people. I feel a deep and urgent calling in my life surrounding building community over competition - something rare but beautiful in the performing arts. I believe it is truly by the grace of God that I continue to have the opportunity to build that community and grow those relationships while pursuing a life in the theatre.
I was fortunate enough to begin performing at Walt Disney World immediatley follwing college graduation. During my last semester of school, my then fiancé (now husband) asked me this
question: “Is there anything you’ve always wanted to do, any dream you’ve wanted to chase, or goal you’ve had that I can help you achieve before we get married?” (Talk about marrying the right person!!!)
I remember feeling silly saying it out loud, “I’ve always wanted to audition for Disney World.”
“Great. I’ll Drive.” And the rest is history.
I made countless memories and hugged thousands of children; it really was everything I had dreamed! Then, I was blessed with an offer to continue my performing career at Walt Disney World with Actors’ Equity Association. “For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration” has now been my home for over three years!
I am full of gratitude to have been helping to tell this beloved story with both Anna and Elsa, and to have the opportunity to deeply invest in the community of Arendelle!
I have loved music as long as I can remember.
Growing up in Nashville, Tennessee means sincerely not remembering a time in my life where my home wasn’t filled with guitars, banjos, pianos, and MUSIC. My four brothers and I were blessed with a dad who filled our home with music, spontinaity, and dreams. When he left the earth in 2019, it was a long
Playing the guitar is still my favorite way to feel connected to my dad, and I feel so blessed that he taught me at such a young age. I have memories playing at every age - belting Taylor Swift lyrics at my middle school talent show, accompaning and dueting with my friends in high school, playing with and for my soroity in college, and getting to play professionally in my adult life.
time before I could pick up my guitar again. However, my return to music in recent years has been the most fulfiling, joyous, and fun dream come true. I love playing and singing at my home, on the stage, with my friends, and even just in my head.
Some people and things that I love…
